I need a radio, anyone have a model they think is the best?

(also some handcuffs, where do I get some that don't actually handcuff?)

The pipefitting section of the hardware store is a goldmine for easily removable yet durable manacle-looking things.

They're OK. The rechargeable batteries tend to die at inopportune times, but I think that's a problem with rechargeable batteries (and not being 100% awesome at remembering to always be recharging them/not having a thing besides the radio itself to recharge it in) and not the radio.

Which are definitely nicer/more solid/more ergonomic/you can adjust the volume by knob rather than button (no beeping, therefore better for stealth if you don't have a headset). I don't know how their battery life is but my impression is "better."

I did a lot of research and purchased these in 2012. These are you best option. Excelent volume, range , and talk time for all weekend. Plus headsets and car home charging options.

Yeah I have had 2-3 sets of those radios... only problem I have ever had with them is keeping track of them.
