I'm going to hunker down with some warm soup and watch The Day after Tomorrow. Then maybe Arctic Blast (Which is The Day after Tomorrow, but just the ice storms, and with Daniel Jackson).

I'm amazed I can write this, this sleepily little town has it'd down side, the main one being the power goes out when a mouse sneezes, so you can imagine what a blizzard does.

Got all the way to work before they told me they didn't need me today. Stupid half-hour of walking in the snow and cold.

In protest, I'm curled up in bed, writing and drawing. And contemplating venturing into the grocery store because goodlord I need milk for my coffee.

I'm hoping the power stays on long enough for me to finish the two commissions sitting in my sewing room begging to be finished. If it stays on longer, my new character may have her coat and Ori may have some new poker vests for his casino.

Rob and I went grocery shopping, like a couple o' fools. Home now, cleaning and being cozy. Yaaaaaaay.

I stocked up on emergency supplies(beer) earlier... Hunkering down and really cleaning my apartment good due to company coming over tomorrow night.... Snowing like crazy here!

I intend to do some cooking, drink mulled wine, and have a B5 marathon with my housemate. And when the snow actually starts to accumulate, I'm going to go jump in it and maybe build a snow fort or something .

mostly just chilling, may try and work on what costume stuff I can, listen to awesome music, currently listening to an awesome industrial cover of Pink Floyd's Welcome to the Machine. Trying to decide if I want to listen to some bleak, wintery black metal next to match the weather, or some Alan Holdsworth, for some reason I feel like some fusion might be fun.

I spent about 19 hours working in a supermarket, watching people act like there will never be food again
Many of those hours were when no actual customers were in the building, of course

Net time shoveling thus far : 3 hours.
