On Friday December 7th at YOC I will be hosting a Realms LARP event that is a light drinking socializing event with hors d'oeuvres. The location setting for our world is the Boarhead Tavern, which is a hub entrance to the World's End tavern. If you are familiar with the Sandman series of graphic novel then you will know the location.

If you are not familiar with the books, the World's End tavern sits inbetween realms and is the resting stop for travellers who are travelling between realms. This means that people from everywhere and everywhen can be found inside.

I am looking for people who would like to come and enjoy themselves at a relaxing social gathering and play their characters from any medieval fantasy LARP they play in. You do not need to know the Realms system to participate, as you will have special rules in place for your characters. Whether or not your character remembers this experience is up to your plot marshall for the LARP they come from.

Anything medieval fantasy like. If you need some clothes and don't want to spend money on a one time event let me know? I've got access to gobs and gobs of peasant garb we can toss on you. You'll essentially be playing a refugee from a place that's being destroyed, for me, but you can be from any walk of life in regards to that.

I would like to not spend tons of money on a onetime event. My fantasy lore is weak so i have no problem playing a peasant from where ever.

For this particular instance of the Tavern I can't have any characters from the future show up, due to certain plot happenings going on right now, only medieval fantasy. This is the only time the Tavern will have this restriction on it thankfully.

Don't worry about not have a great fantasy grasp. Random human schmuck works pretty well!

Matt I could put together a costume and concept with you if you want.

Gryf knows LOTS of people from other dimensions. Hell I even have the garb.

You could be a Miserable' insectafae IE Fae Shaman who likes to go all "RAWR BEASTFORM"

The only thing I'd need you to come up with is to wear a pair of loose black pants and some comofrtable boots/shoes. Loose cargo pants would work well since the upper parts will be covered by your tunic and such.

Attention beer connoiseurs!

So my event is actually a precursor event to one of major yearly parties that I bartend at. A friend of mine works for a alcohol distributor in the area and tends to get some really nice deals. This year she's getting us a free keg for our big party as a bonus for us doing a taste testing of their brews.

What this means is that my event will be doing the taste test and whichever people pick for the best beer will be our keg. So if you have a discerning palette and like good beer, you'll be in for an extra treat at my event.
