With cream cheese frosting.

And strawberries.

Assuming you are preparing something as opposed to store bought, I don't think sulfates/sulfites will be an issue. If it has wine in the recipe, I will likely pass unless you check or bring the bottle, and I can confirm. (Stupid allergies keeping me from tasty, tasty wines and hard ciders...and Nestle Pure Life water if you can believe.)

I'm still deciding what to make Derek as his reward for a couple of hours of intense FI backstory over drinks. I will likely make a batch of whatever for him and a batch for general consumption Friday and Saturday. He asked for my specialty, but that's anything from toffee to CC cookies to focaccia to stuffed breads... (Otherwise, I need to be near a stove/oven, so I can make him my shrimp broccoli al fredo or a deep dish pizza. Both are rather less than convenient for travel and distribution, though.)

That is, without a doubt, the most brilliant name for a meal I have ever heard.

I'm thinking of making a layered taco dip, I'll make sure to write out the ingredients.

Oops, I didn't mention nitrates/nitrites. No processed meats (pepperoni, salami, chorizo, etc.) for me either unless they are preservative free. sad smiley Please don't let that stop anyone's planning. I can fend for myself.

On the bright side, I have a pint of guacamole that I can also bring to place next to Wendy's layered dip. smiling smiley On the down side, it contains onions...

The decision has been made: Strawberry Rhubarb Turnovers.

Ambam, this is separate from the Saturday morning Set Up Goodies as mentioned in the Super Sekrit Klubhawss.

So I found some cake batter..... Might make some cupcakes..... Could also do brownie cupcakes as well.
Also if you ask nicely I may make some GF cookies for those allergic to life.

So is everything going to be cakes and snacks and stuff like that. Anything not mentioned that could be brought.

Well, it's a dry event, but I haven't heard anyone mention bringing any form of non-alcoholic beverage.

I'm guessing most folks will be planning to bring their own, but a couple liters and some cups would likely not go amiss.

SIDE NOTE: there was no rhubarb in the produce section. While shocked, I persevered and there are now Strawberry Honey Turnovers coming along with the guac and chips.

See everyone tonight!

Um.... if you're concerned, there's 16 2-liters and cups (and I'm grabbing ice on the way) in my car now

8 coke products, 8 pepsi products, so as to not provoke a religious war

I must cop to heresy.

In my early days, whence I was thin and could consume massive quantities and still drank "regular" soda, I did follow the faith of Coke. (Not "New Coke", which many of you are too young to have had to deal with)

Alas, as my years and my pounds progressed, I was forced to switch to diet soda.... (did you know there are about 1000 calories in a 2 liter bottle of regular soda?) I much prefer diet Pepsi to Diet Coke.

Please forgive me my transgressions
