Yeah, I love this video. I already planned on using this technique for my powered armor. It should stand up to Larp conditions if you are careful with your design and use an adhesive that will stand up to the abuse you need.

Though I didn't know about this video until recently my power armor isn't that different, though I did coat it in fiberglass resin to keep it from getting ripped or damaged.
