Some of the most amazing technology to crop up in my life time and before it's even reasonably priced for home use being used to make pet accessories. Sounds about right.

Michel, it's addressing the shell shortages in the wild. Though it's also pretty cute.

"A shortage in vacant shells on the ocean floor has left many crabs vulnerable to the dangers of the sea; desperate crabs have resorted to pilfering the depths for articles of trash, plastic cups and even broken beer bottles for make-shift coats."

I know this is a bit more expensive then a microwave, but you can get a 3D printer for a reasonable price! My laptop cost about the same as this gizmo; next time I'm considering a computer upgrade I'm seriously just going to spend the cash one one of these.

Then I stand happy corrected on both accounts, though I have to say I, I once ran Star Trek Online on ultra settings off my HD monitor while watching Star Trek on my other monitor with a 3D rendering program in the back ground and my rig barley cost haft of that price tag. I think it fair to say they are still to expensive for the typical household.

Just think, you could play Star Trek Online, watch Star Trek, and print models of the Enterprise ALL AT THE SAME TIME!

As soon as I have one of these, I'm inviting everyone over for a 'Bring Your Own Beer and Print Your Own Mug' party.

My mug will be shaped like a unicorn. The horn will be a pour spout.

Wouldn't that be more of a sippy cup at that point then?

Are YOU a beer mug designer?

But it will be a sippy UNICORN cup. That makes it awesome.
