Alephs And Perk Learning

If I'm an aleph yameen and am learning a perk that is categorized as bio theory, can I use my aleph bonus dev to learn the perk, or do I need to use my uncategorized dev action?

If it is related to an Aleph science, either by requirements or effects, then it qualifies.
