Recovery And First Aid

There has been a general assumption that recovery pauses if any form of healing is begun on you, because that is how it worked in FI2. Is that still the case? I'm not seeing wording explicitly one way or the other in the gamma rulebook. Can staff clarify for us?

Your choice as the Recovery Skill user.
The skill is not expended until you get up after 1 minute unconscious. If you trust the First Aid, then feel free not to spend it. If you’re about to use it in 10 seconds and don’t want to wait two minutes for your Gimel buddy to cover you in tape, go right ahead. Your choice.
