Advance Notice Of Symptoms Following Infliction

If a character is hit with an Inflict at Event E and the player dutifully notes it in their PEL, and the Inflict causes a condition which the character would notice during the Work Cycle (that is, Staff would intend for the character to have been aware of their condition for some time prior to Event E+1), when is the player generally notified? At game on for Event E+1? After the update deadline for Event E+1? Within ~time~ of the PEL submission deadline for Event E?

I ask because, hypothetically, if I were in this situation, there might be a few costume alterations I would like to make, and any lead time would be appreciated. Thank you!

Generally we let you know at Game On, and assist with any necessary make up requirements at that point. Generally, in most cases, we assume diseases have an onset time of at least 1 Work Cycle to minimize such issues. Sepsis being the main exception, so that it afflicts you immediately per the Rulebook.

Does that help?

Yes, thank you.

The specific case that I had in mind is that one might...react a certain way to disease, such that even if symptoms started appearing days before the rec cycle there might be additional costuming choices to bring into play.
