Minimum Weapon Length

In the current rulebook, the minimum length for a blade is 18". The new rulebook sets that to 12" instead. As most larp weapons have a handle of about 6", this means you'd only have 6" of striking surface. I think that makes the likelyhood of accidentally punching someone while using a 12" blade far too high, and recommend leaving minimum blade length at 18" for safety.

12'' blades in direct combat are butts, can confirm. Let's keep boxing matches to punch packets.

I feel confident saying I am an expert in this area and agree that 12" weapons are basically boxing.
18" is much much safer.
