Hi all!
I've finally gotten around to reading up on registration and Federal Aviation Administration regulations regarding recreational drones.
It turns out that Ye Olde Commons falls within a 5 mile airport flight zone on the FAA airmap, and that means that drone operators would need to call the local airport flight control to request permission for recreational drone flight.
RC car drones are still cool to drive around, but I won't be producing any more flying drones for IG use on site. (It's still fine to fly them indoors and at one-days, but I suspect that novelty isn't going to generally be worth the NOB and BAT).
Just sharing awareness so that nobody gets slapped with anything legal at LARP.
