While I love my cabinmates, I've been thinking of maybe using a tent. Before I decide I was hoping to know which places were allowed and which were forbidden.

Edit: I can be a pretty lateral thinker.

Recommended: the tent platforms on the field.

Also acceptable: places generally out of the way, case-by-case basis.

Okay so no camping in the forest, on or under buildings, within existing tent like thingies, the existing leant-to supports, upon the creek, under the bridge, in infrastructure building, in the trees, the center of the field, nor amongst the cabins?

I am not trying to be difficult, I have a hard time seeing the box to think inside of.

several people did pitch tents right next to the upper cabins.
I don't know if there is similar open space next to the two lower ones.

I have camped in the forest. My basic guidelines for finding my tentpad were: Don't block paths, stay away from the forest buildings, don't kill the grass, and avoid poison ivy.

John Ranson has given good guidelines for forest camping!

The across-the-field cabins have a nice open spot where the horrible trailers used to be that would be acceptable as a spot if you don't like the platforms. There's also a spot behind the lower cabins, I don't recall off the top of my head how big it is though.

Does that give you enough options? Do you have any medical device requirements (like Rob S mentioned)?

For everyone... Please let me know if you plan on tenting by Sunday so I can update cabin assignments.

Same for anyone who's staying offsite.

That spot behind the lower cabins is big enough for a two person tent, at least.
