Am I missing anything important from this list of used CT-3-XXX numbers? I just want to know what numbers I shouldn't pick for a miscellaneous colony in my history. (Although I hear they can overlap.)

They can overlap, and I'm not going to offer up any more Colonies (Hey, there might be secret lore out there or something).
So you really don't have to worry about the numbering at all. Seriously, pick whatever number you want or can remember easily.

Also, I will say that the list you have is a tiny glimpse at how many Colonies have existed. I won't say how many, but we only bother to mention 'famous' or 'notable' colonies in the rulebook because enumerating them all would be a waste of time. I won't say how many exist, feel free to speculate wildly, but just know that even the numbers you have listed above are likely to have been used several times.

Yeah, they overlap because the lowest bidder construction only accounted for 3 digits of colony number. The number rolls over to 000 after 999, and humanity has been at this colonizing thing for a LONG time.
