I find it so weird that I get called "young man" and handed the children's menu at restaurants but called a girl when I'm trying to crossplay. Life's just weird like that. Sunday morning, Grace was worrying about how old she was.

Lifeblind: Its ok, at least you age gracefully.

(everyone else groans, and the inadvertant awful pun he made finally registeres on Hunter)

(he does so, later Hatsu tries to call him over to continue the conversation)

Chris reminded me of this today. Hannah is sitting on the arm of two couches that are next to each other. Stark is sitting next to her on one of the couches, and Shlea is icing her bad leg at the far end of the other one. Hannah realizes she is in the way of a conversation Stark is having, and tries to plop back onto the couch with Shlea. I not only fall on her bad leg (I know, I suck)...but I manage to get my barette stuck in the couch and litterally cannot get up...


Hannah: Shlea, my head is stuck to the couch
Shlea: Hannah! Get off my leg!

<Hannah contorts herself to get off said leg, her head still attached to the couch. She looks around for a another girl to aid her>

Hannah: Lys! My head is stuck to the couch
Lys: I can't fix that! Ask Shlea!
Hannah: No! It's really stuck
Lys: (thinking Shlea snared my head to the couch) I don't know that procedure

< Meanwhile, Stark is laughing, Shlea is crying and not only is my barette stuck inside a hole in the couch, but that damn couch is eating me and I cannot for the life of me get up>

Luckily, Ori comes to my rescue!

Eventaully Gera whined enough to get Hannibles attention to come and save her from the couch. Sadly, this happened three more times over the course of the event. Lesson learned Wendy! COUCHES ARE EVIL AND UNCOUTH!
