Hello there colonists!

My sincere apologies that its nearing two weeks after the event and points have not been added yet, nor characters updated for cap, etc.

I got the cleanup information from Derek last night, and had intended to take care of things. After sitting down to my computer in my second floor, non-air conditioned apartment, my computer started making very unhappy hot noises within a minute of being turned on.

I see the heat is supposed to break after Friday night; expect that I will get things done for you all this weekend (after casting for Prophecy on Saturday, of course).

You want someone should donate a Logistics-aiding A/C unit?

Oh, we have a window unit. We're just soldiering through this freak span of heat, since next week its supposed to be back in the 70's/low 80s. Once the window unit is in, we lose all chance of just having windows open and using a cross breeze to cool the place.

So, at this point, its sheer stubborness.

Yeah, that's exactly why I refused to put mine in, too.

I AC'd up yesterday.

I've had my AC in the window since April.

Living on the third floor (a glorified attic) means an AC unit is required shortly after the snow melts.

Stubborn, despite also living in a glorified attic (albiet of a two-story home, not three).

We've taken to grilling dinner to avoid turning on the Stove of Death, and then escaping the house for about an hour each evening to Ikea to walk laps around in the A/C and nom frozen yogurt cones. As coping mechanisms go, its both healthy and tasty.

I fully support your heat beating strategy Amber. Zach and I pretty much live in an Ikea ad.
