In addition to the Post Event Letter (all hail the mighty PEL!), there are some other ways to let cast know what you are up to, and what you'd like to be up to in the future.

In case you weren't already aware, we employ amongst our arsenal of plot tools and devices two particularly infrequently-used but potentially powerful weapons:

Transmissions to Mother (fancy cute way of saying 'Letters to Cast'): Can be either IG or OOG, and can let us know what it is you'd like to do at future events, what directions you'd like to take relationships with cast characters, and many other useful things to know when writing plots. Of course, not all of what you want will you get, but it is still useful knowledge for plot writers to know.

Character Goals: Found in amongst your character navigation options on your online character information, you will see "Goals". You can add, delete, and edit these as time goes by and perhaps circumstances change. Secretly working on world domination but no cast character has noticed yet? If you update your Goals, we'll have a better idea of how you want to interact with our world.

I highly encourage the use of both of these options, in addition to the much-needful PEL.

I am surprised that our peeps do not use the rumors function!

For a long while, the dates available to post in there stopped in 2009.

There is a feedback button under HELP that I strongly encourage you all to peruse and use as you see fit. This is as much for praise of difficult situations as much as it is to report those difficult situations.

Revived, both since the first post is good after-event advice and because I wanted to see if anything was going to be done with Rumors (because what Catalyst needs is for Nolan to take up even more transmissions bandwith).

Right now, transmissions to mother that are IG will not be treated as 'received' because ColonyNet is not fully functioning IG.

When the IG system is running, we are likely to set up a way for you to use ColonyNet to send us IG chatter.

Until then Transmissions to Mother will be a great way to send the Plot team love and let us know about things you're thinking about.
