The following eBoard policies will apply to players who come to cast a game for us, due to financial situations, not making the pre-reg list, or a host of other possible life scenarios. Questions/comments/concerns, please as always, PM or Help Request.

Players as Temporary Cast
... will earn 25 UP for attending the event and casting for us
... will not earn a Cap Increase
... will be asked to only show up to event on Saturday, NOT Friday or Sunday
... will be eligible for the UP Shop as a further thank you
... will not get research
... will be asked to cast 9am-dinner
... will be allowed to then take their own player character out from dinner til game off Saturday night, barring unprecedented cast emergency needs
... will not have sleeping space, since they will only be there Saturday and not overnights
... will be asked to be mindful of overhearing plot backstage, and will therefore be asked to remain in a separate Ops area when they are not acting as Cast in game, so they don't ruin their future fun at events

why can we not temp cast fri and sun ?

There are a number of reasons that the eBoard felt this is the best policy, primarily:

*Information Leaks: Its easier to keep temp cast from learning anything harmful about plot if they don't see the entire event unfold.
*Logistics: We cannot supply them with a place to sleep overnights, and so want to make sure they aren't onsite and uncomfortable Friday Night or Saturday night.

While we appreciate the heart of those that have offered to go without access to basic comforts, its not what we want to have happening.

A reminder to everyone that this might apply to that this policy is going into effect starting with our very first event.

Any PLAYER who is coming to CAST for the first spring event: please be aware of the above policy regarding players as cast members, especially that you are asked to only be on site SATURDAY of the event, for both Plot and Logistical reasons. Please be respectful of the policy.
