One of our standing traditions at FI is to share the memorable quotes that others (generally considered poor form to quote yourself, but some choose to do so) may have said during the course of the event.

So, share away the memorable, the hysterical, the best and the worst: but of course, remember that what you know, your character knows, so this isn't the place to share the deep dark secrets.

"...Holy crap, is this Hunter?!"

Bradams (With confusion) "Wha? Yeah! Yeah it's me!"

Me, without queuing my radio, "Guys I'm talking with Hunter, he's alright!"

Oh, Out of Game stuff. You were hilarious.

don't remeber who said it in the bunker but some one whe finding out or seeing sohpia and jacobi maybe dieing wouldnt be as bad as months with them i died

This was more like a bunker-wide consensus than an individual's quote: We've already passed about as many laws after an hour in this bunker as the Colonial Council has; no assualt with deadly weapons and compulsory hygiene.

Waylynd to me, completely serious: "If you die, I'm never talking to you again!"

Amid the mad scramble to clear out the Tampered from the main area right at game start...

It's the last few minutes of game, players are prepping what will be the last bunker out. I'm in the main area as Doc S. We've just repelled bugs, and suddenly right through the elevator come two guys dressed all in black from head to toe. Just as I'm trying to reconcile in my head which plot this could possibly be and coming back blank, Franco levels his threatening gun at them, and orders them to stand down. They look at him with a touch of fear, and more than a little confusion, til someone clarifies to Erik, "um, I think they're with the hotel".

Its then we realize that our enemies are armed with trash bags, and are indeed Sturbridge Host staff just coming through to make sure the event room is all maintained.

Reminder to self: Next year, give those guys blue jumpsuits, orange vests, and nerf guns...

EVERY YEAR there is a hilarious encounter with hotel employees. I always say "we should make sure to warn them...or post a sign or something" And every year we keep letting it happen. I think I'm ok with this.

In a previous year I had an interesting time trying to get a hotel employee to leave game. He did not seem to understand that anything weird was going on around him. He did not seem to think there was anything weird about people yelling about genetic classification and nerf guns firing. He did seem confused when I insisted we waited for the rope light to go dark before I escorted him to the hallway.

Guy Hanson, Blazer and Gregori enter the bunker and head to safety:

Gregori: "Now is the time for celebratory Nova-K"
Blazer: "Indeed! Nova-K"
Guy: "NOVA-K!"
Gregori: "For Nova-K, there is the woo in three man."

*SNOOOORT*

All together: "Three Man! WOO!"

The Disciple walks through the bunker, cowl over his head. He floats past Kim as her produce vendor and pauses:

Disciple: "Are those... carrots?!"
Kim: "Yes!"
Disciple: "I... I love carrots! May I have one?"
Kim: "Yes!"
Disciple: "Thank you."

A sleeved hand floats over the basket, leaving it with one carrot less. Minutes later, Rooster and the Disciple are standing side-by-side, each munching a carrot:

Rooster: "Heh, I never pictured you as being a carrot man"
Disciple: "I... I love carrots..."
Rooster: "I see that, but I figured you ate math or something..."

I know it was more an OOG joke but:

Bug: Click?

Grinner:...What, no!

Bug: Click Click?

Ginner: Hmmm, no

Bug: Cliiiicck...

Grinner: AwwwNO, NO!!!

Bug: Charm!

Grinner: Hey guys I think we should let them in.

I heard there was also one that had the bugs come back for a second attempt to get in, this time all wearing black wigs when Grinner answered the door.

I'm really glad we didn't run the plot where bugs try to sneak into the bunker while wearing tan trenchcoats and Groucho Marx schnozz glasses. -Derek
