SO... A question was raised to me about how we, the player liasons, could pitch an idea that not only helps FI get back on its feet and running full tilt but ALSO gets our players mingling and socializing.

I propose. Lasers.
Why? Who doesn't love them?
I know I do.

So if I were to... say... rent out LaserQuest in danvers MA.. For an overnight event from like 9 or 10pm to say... 6AM.. Who would be interested?

What if you could win prizes? Even earn some UP?
What if you could shoot your friends with lasers ALL night?

Would you like that?
I thought so.

I can't help that Boston likes to celebrate my birth by having hundreds of people pass out from heat exhaustion and dehydration...

But I appreciate that they PAY ME DUE TRIBUTE!!!

What foolishness! What are exhaustion and dehydration without lasers. In all seriousness the timing makes getting a hotel room tricky.

If this is done on a Saturday night, I might put in an appearance. I still own my original Lazer Tag, and have a lazer tag rifle somewhere.

Fair warning : I am USUALLY up all night, so I expect to be better equipped to handle 3am than most of you

That being said, Laserquest provides their own gear. You wouldn't need to bring anything save maybe potluck snackables... Though I'm sure i can pull that off too.

After a full night of lasery goodness a long drive home would likely be rather dangerous, I prefer to crash at the local motel 6 then on the highway.

My sister is interested in lazer tag all night, so I might have a couple tag alongs from UML I know her interest is in lazer tag all night more then FI, but who knows maybe we can get a few converts.

And again the point is also fundraising. So guests are fine. Like my birthday I'd bring rockband and other alternative entertainments.

ToV is the April 28th weekend, so that is right out for me and a number of our other folks.

I'd venture out for the holiday weekend, though.

Jeff and I will be in KY at my cousin's graduation in May. T_T
