Fall 1 2021 Food Plan & Cabin Update

Hi everyone!
*Important updates relating to food and cabin space.*
1) YOC cannot provide us with meal service as they have in the past. We are looking into alternative meal options, such as Catering, Players with Servsafe certifications, and Potluck/Bring Your Own. This is as a result of happy things for the former YOC kitchen staff, who have found more full time employment, with different schedules. We will miss them dearly but we should all wish them the very best in their continuing adventures.
We are posting a separate poll to get your preferences. (Link to follow) (EDIT: Link to survey:forms.gle)
It would be hugely helpful to us if you could sign up for the event by Pre-Registering As-Soon-As-Possible. Whether you are coming as cast or a player, this will let us get a more accurate headcount for resolving food services. If you have a food allergy or requirement, for ease of reference, please update us with that information in the poll.
2) If you would prefer to handle your own food for some/all of the meals, please let us know so we don’t include you in the meal count, or only include you in the ones you are interested in out of: Saturday Breakfast/Saturday Dinner/Sunday Breakfast.
3) Please submit a Help Request if you have a group of people who would like to share a cabin. The individual cabins currently fit up to 5 beds, which should allow some isolation groups to bunk in the same cabin.
4) We are keeping an eye on the evolving COVID guidance as it becomes available. We are currently expecting to be able to run a weekend event with indoor masking and distancing, but if the science does not support that course of action we will re-evaluate in light of the available information and guidance. We may have to limit ourselves to a one day outing if circumstances become worse, or cancel if they become much worse. Safety is our first priority.
As a reminder, we do require vaccination or a medical exemption (as detailed in our Vaccination Policy announcement).
